Yale Climate Fellowship is a hybrid program, and it is divided into three parts, including both in-person and remote activities. The first one is Yale Orientation Week. This five-month international fellowship will start with a one-week, in-person orientation program at Yale University from February 16-20, 2026.
The second part of the Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 in US and France is Remote Learning Journeys. This part will take place from March through June 2026. Climate Fellows will organize a series of interactive remote sessions with leading worldwide experts on the entire spectrum of policy issues related to climate change, and the clean energy transition will be planned and executed by Climate Fellows. The third and last part is Paris Closing Week. This climate change fellowship will conclude with an in-person week in Paris from June 15–19, 2026. During this, the fellows will meet with top international climate change analysts and share their perspectives acquired throughout the program.
The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded fellowship program. Host organizations will bear all the expenses related to the participation of the fellows in the orientation and closing week. All expenses, including airfare, accommodation, travel, food, and other related costs, will be covered. Admission is very competitive.
