What is the John Holland Scholarship?
The John Holland Scholarship is an annual initiative aimed at empowering Indigenous students who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Two students are selected each year—either new or continuing university students—who meet the eligibility requirements and demonstrate academic excellence and potential for leadership.

Eligible Nationalities

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and accepted by the community in which they live or have lived
- Be enrolled in a STEM course at a university in New South Wales (NSW)
- Show consistently high academic performance in core STEM subjects
- Be willing and able to undertake casual or ongoing paid work experience on a John Holland project or within a corporate office
- Attend an interview with a minimum three-person panel if shortlisted
