University College London (UCL), one of the UK’s leading research universities, is now accepting applications for its Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA) 2025. These awards aim to empower UK undergraduate students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds to pursue higher education at UCL by providing essential financial support.
Funded by generous alumni donations, private sponsors, and UCL’s own resources, these scholarships offer critical financial relief in addition to the UCL Undergraduate Bursary.

Application Procedure
How to Apply for UGFA Scholarships at UCL?
- Log into Portico with your applicant credentials.
- Click on ‘View’ for your active undergraduate application.
- Navigate to the ‘Funding‘ tab in the top menu.
- Click ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’.
- Choose the scholarship schemes you are eligible for and complete the application forms.
- Submit a separate form for each scholarship you are applying to.
