Université de Montréal (UdeM) Exemption Scholarships 2025-2026 for International Students – Canada
The Université de Montréal (UdeM) is offering Exemption Scholarships for international students to help reduce or waive international tuition fees across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs.
First introduced in Fall 2020, this scholarship aims to attract top global talent and support academic diversity at one of the world’s leading francophone research universities.

Scholarship value is based on academic performance:

Note: Writing and correction sessions are charged at Quebec rates.

Note: Doctoral students pay the same tuition as Quebec residents.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, applicants must:

Be an international student (excluding French and Belgian francophone nationals)

Have received an admission offer for a full-time degree program
-
Hold a valid CAQ and study permit for the entire duration of the program

Be enrolled full-time at UdeM
-
Not be receiving any other tuition exemption
Failure to meet any condition may result in scholarship cancellation.
