About the TUM SEED Center
The TUM SEED Center is an Excellence Centre for Exchange and Development, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The center focuses on research and education in sustainable energy solutions and entrepreneurship, fostering development in the Global South. It collaborates with ten leading technical universities worldwide, including institutions in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Ghana, India, Kenya, Uganda, Namibia, Peru, and South Africa. The summer school aligns with the center’s mission to equip future leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to drive sustainable development.
Scholarship Benefits
The fully funded scholarship for the International Summer School 2025 covers:

Important Notes
- The scholarship does not cover visa applications or other logistical arrangements. Selected participants are responsible for securing their visas.
- Flight modifications, cancellations, or missed flights will not be covered by the program.
- The scholarship cannot be transferred or deferred if the participant cannot attend.
