Greek carrier SKY express will once again support the nationwide distribution of the Holy Light this Easter, operating both scheduled and special flights from Athens to seven destinations across Greece on Holy Saturday night.
The Holy Light will arrive at Athens International Airport (AIA) from Jerusalem via a government flight before being carried by SKY express to Alexandroupolis, Heraklion, Corfu, Kythera, Mytilini, Rhodes, and Chios.

Since 2017, the airline has consistently assisted in the safe and timely transport of the Holy Light to communities across the country.
The effort is supported by SKY express’s trained personnel and modern fleet, ensuring coordination with state authorities for a smooth operation.
In addition, on Holy Saturday, the airline will welcome passengers on all domestic and international arrivals to Greece with Easter candles (lampades), honoring local customs.
