Taking place from March 4 to 6 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, ITB Berlin 2025 will feature 5,800 exhibitors from over 170 countries, providing a global platform for tourism promotion.
The Municipality of Thira will be showcasing Santorini’s top attractions to international tourism professionals at Hall 1.1, Stand 101, with the aim of enhancing the island’s tourism profile as seismic activity subsides.
Building on the success of this year’s exhibition, the municipality will unveil new tourism campaign materials, including themed videos, promotional gifts, brochures, and striking photographs that highlight the island’s beauty, offering an immersive experience to visitors.
“The municipality’s participation in ITB 2025 demonstrates its commitment to promoting Santorini and Thirasia, while supporting the local economy, businesses, and workforce,” the announcement noted.
This initiative highlights Santorini’s unique geological and cultural heritage while emphasizing sustainable development efforts. As the island continues to recover, this campaign is part of a broader strategy to support tourism and strengthen the local community in preparation for the upcoming travel season.
