Are you a final-year undergraduate or first-year master’s student at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) looking for a funded opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and academia? The Collaboration Scholarship 2025–2026, offered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MEFP), provides a unique opportunity to work within UPF’s academic departments while receiving a grant of €2,000.
Purpose and Recipients of the Collaboration Scholarship
The Collaboration Scholarship is designed to help students enhance their academic profile through direct involvement in research or departmental projects. It is open to:
- Final-year undergraduate students
- First-year official master’s degree students
Applicants must be enrolled in a UPF center (students at affiliated institutions are not eligible). The scholarship aims to bridge academic learning with practical research collaboration.

Pompeu Fabra University Spain (UPF) Collaboration Scholarship 2025 is available to undertake Undergraduate, Masters level programs at Pompeu Fabra University.

Eligible Nationalities

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a final undergraduate year or a first-year master’s degree at a UPF center.
- Submit a project that aligns with a department’s research area.
- Commit to a collaboration schedule of 3 hours/day for 7.5 months.
Note: The collaboration scholarship can only be received once and is compatible with general MEFP scholarships for the same academic year.
Application Procedure
Application Timeline
The application period for the UPF Collaboration Scholarship runs from:
11 June 2025 at 8:00 to 16 September 2025
Late applications will not be considered, so early preparation is highly encouraged.
Required Documentation
Applicants must follow a two-step submission process:
Step 1: Apply Online via MEFP
- Complete the MEFP application form.
- Download the project summary sheet and submit it to your chosen department for evaluation.
- Upload the evaluated project sheet back to the MEFP online office.
Step 2: Submit Documents to UPF
Send the following to UPF’s Academic Management Service via beques@upf.edu:
- A copy of the completed application.
- A copy of the project summary sheet.
