Louis Hotels is reinforcing its presence on Mykonos with two distinct properties that reflect the island’s evolving hospitality landscape — the historic Mykonos Theoxenia and the modern adults-only Once in Mykonos – Designed for Adults.

Both members of the group’s Exclusive Collection, the properties illustrate two complementary interpretations of high-end Cycladic travel: one rooted in architectural heritage and mid-century design, the other in minimalist luxury and tailored experiences for adults.

“Ideal for travelers seeking style, tranquility and authentic Cycladic finesse, the two hotels create the ultimate accommodation experience on the most iconic island in the Aegean,” the group said in an announcement.

Located next to the island’s iconic windmills, Mykonos Theoxenia dates back to the 1960s and is recognized for its unique architectural value.

Fully renovated and now a member of Design Hotels, it features 37 rooms and 8 suites — several with private pools — that blend Cycladic character with contemporary aesthetics.

The hotel’s dining is helmed by two Michelin-starred chefs, one Greek and one French, at its Apanemi restaurant, offering a Mediterranean à la carte menu. Guests also have access to So Spa!, with services including cryotherapy and infrared sauna treatments.

On the opposite end of the design spectrum is Once in Mykonos, a five-star property situated above Ornos Beach and catering exclusively to adults.

With 59 rooms and suites — most offering private pools and sea views — the hotel emphasizes Cycladic minimalism and personalized luxury.

Experiential travel is a key component, with offerings such as private cruises to lesser-known beaches, an open-air yoga deck, and panoramic gym facilities. Culinary offerings center around Infinity Restaurant and Infinity Bar, combining local flavors with oceanfront views.

Louis Hotels, based in Cyprus and part of the Louis Group, currently operates 26 hotels and resorts across Greece and Cyprus, drawing on over eight decades of experience in the region.
