Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the KTH Joint Programme Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a fee-paying student as defined by the Swedish national application system (University Admissions Sweden).
- Attend KTH in autumn 2025 for one or two semesters as part of one of the following joint programmes:
- Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering (COSSE)
- Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering (Nordic Five Tech)
- Polymer Technology (Nordic Five Tech)
- ICT Innovation (EIT Digital) (with specific conditions)
- Decentralized Smart Energy Systems (DENSYS) (under specific conditions)
Note: Students applying to EIT Health programmes, Molecular Techniques in Life Science, Biostatistics and Data Science, or Mathematics should apply for other scholarships.
Application Procedure
Application Instructions
- Application window: 1 April to 15 April 2025.
- Send scanned copies of your bachelor’s degree and transcripts (with English translations if needed) to info@kth.se during the application period.
- If you’re entering your first year at KTH, submit your bachelor’s documents.
- If you’re entering your second year, submit first-year transcripts from your joint programme.
Selection Criteria
Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, including:
- Grades (GPA or equivalent)
- Ranking of the university awarding your bachelor’s degree
- Performance during previous studies in the joint programme (if applicable)
