Greece stood out at the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025, where a Greek hotel and a hospitality group earned top honors during a ceremony in Berlin on Monday, ahead of the ITB Berlin 2025 tourism exhibition.
Recognized as a benchmark of excellence, the TUI Global Hotel Awards annually celebrate the dedication and hard work of hotel teams worldwide.
Based entirely on guest feedback, TUI Group honored 19 hotels and resorts, selected from a pool of 14,000 properties, on behalf of its more than 20 million guests. This year’s edition introduced three new categories: Best Large Hotel, Best Newcomer, and Best Hotel TUI France.
“For many of our guests, the hotel stay is the highlight of their holiday,” said TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel. “The winners of the TUI Global Hotel Awards embody this dedication, achieving unprecedented high quality scores this year.”

For the fourth consecutive year, the Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites on Rhodes claimed the “Best Hotel Worldwide” and the “Best Hotel East Med’ & North Africa” titles, following exceptional reviews from TUI guests across the globe, proving the hotel’s excellent service and dedication.

Greece saw another win at the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025 as the Metaxa Hospitality Group on Crete received the TUI Care Foundation Award.

Earlier this year, TUI released its highly anticipated list of top hotels for 2025, showcasing the crème de la crème of properties worldwide eligible for a TUI Global Hotel Award. Notably, hotels from Greece, Spain, and Türkiye accounted for 67 percent of the list.
Greece was represented with 25 hotels: Art Hotel Debono, Costas Golden Beach Hotel, Destino Blue Hotel & Spa, Ikos Dassia, Ikos Odisia on Corfu; Aeolos Beach Hotel, Anassa Hotel Studios, Limanaki Beach Hotel, Nine Muses on Kefalonia; Ikos Aria, Mayflower Apartments on Kos; Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa, Casa Blu, Ikones Seafront Luxury Suites, Melrose by Mage Hotels, Mike´s Hotel & Apartments on Crete; Atlantica Imperial Resort, Esperos Village Blue & Spa – Adults Only, Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites, Lindos Mare Seaside Hotel, Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa on Rhodes; Ikos Oceania, Ikos Olivia, Sani Beach Resort at Halkidiki; and Fito Aqua Bleu Resort on Samos.
The ITB Berlin 2025 tourism expo opened at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in Germany on Tuesday and will run until March 6.
