Harvard University – Mittal Institute India Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at Harvard University.
Available Subjects
The Mittal Institute India Fellowship 2026 is designed to support innovative postdoctoral research that contributes to the public benefit of India. Research topics may span a wide range of disciplines, including:
- Public Health and Climate Change
- Education and Gender Studies
- Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology
- Law, Philosophy, and Linguistics
- Science, Medicine, History, and Visual Arts
Fellows are expected to reside in New Delhi and actively engage with the Mittal Institute’s activities—such as hosting seminars, reviewing grants, and collaborating with Harvard-affiliated researchers in India.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this prestigious Harvard-affiliated postdoctoral fellowship in India, applicants must:
- Have completed a PhD between March 1, 2020, and March 31, 2025
- Be early-career scholars (postdoctoral level)
- Preferably have been educated primarily at institutions in India
- Not be holding any other fellowship concurrently

Selection and Mentorship
