Greece has been named one of the top 10 global destinations for scenic views, tying for fourth place in a survey by international car rental platform DiscoverCars.com.
The ranking was based on feedback from 6,449 drivers, who rated the destinations they had visited on a scale of 1 to 10.
Greece scored an impressive 9.23, sharing its position with Croatia.
Recognized for its white-and-blue architecture, scenic beaches, countless coves and striking landscapes – such as the Acropolis of Athens – Greece continues to captivate travelers with a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Mount Olympus, the country’s highest peak and once believed to be the home of the gods, remains a major draw for hikers seeking sweeping views and mythological mystique.
Ireland was crowned the destination with the best views globally, earning a score of 9.52 out of 10 from international visitors. Nicknamed “The Emerald Isle” for its lush green landscapes, Ireland captivates travelers with its natural beauty.
New Zealand ranked second, followed by Portugal and the United Kingdom in third place. Poland and Italy came in fifth, while Cyprus, France, Spain, the United States, and Mauritius completed the list of the world’s top 10 destinations with the most beautiful views.
