The inaugural News9 Global Summit, held from November 21–23, 2024, in Stuttgart, Germany, marked a significant milestone in fostering India-Germany relations. The summit revolved around the theme, “India-Germany: A Roadmap to Sustainable Growth”. It featured a distinguished lineup of policymakers, business leaders, and academics, including India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi (via keynote), alongside influential German and Indian officials.
Fintiba’s role in “Bridging the Gap”
Fintiba was proud to be part of this historic event through our Managing Director, Jonas Marggraf, who joined a critical panel discussion “Bridging the Gap: Crafting a Win-Win.” This discussion addressed the pressing challenge of workforce shortages and explored how India and Germany can collaborate to create mutually beneficial solutions.
Jonas Marggraf emphasised the Triple-Win Strategy. This focuses on benefiting individuals, businesses, and both countries by nurturing a thriving talent ecosystem. Key insights included:
- People as the core of success: When individuals succeed in their personal and professional lives, their contributions ripple positively across businesses and communities. This further reinforces the bilateral partnership between India and Germany.
- Importance of integration: It is crucial to have structured efforts to ensure sustainable integration of international talent into Germany’s workforce. This includes providing support for German language learning and encouraging cultural and professional integration.
- Students as ideal talent pool: Among OECD countries, Germany is the best at keeping international students after they graduate. International students are excellent candidates to fill skill gaps since Germany’s well-established ecosystem already offers strong support for their integration into the workforce.
As a leader in enabling international students and professionals to achieve their dreams in Germany, Fintiba remains committed to bridging gaps and fostering global partnerships. The News9 Global Summit served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, and we are honoured to have contributed to shaping a collaborative future.
