China Link Scholarship 2025 at Jiangsu University

The 2025 China Link Scholarship is now open for applications! This scholarship, initiated by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), aims to strengthen academic collaboration and mutual understanding between young scholars worldwide. It provides a unique platform for scientific research exchange among global young talents. Jiangsu University (JSU) is one of the prestigious host universities for this program.

About Jiangsu University (JSU)

Jiangsu University is a comprehensive institution with a history spanning over a century, renowned for its expertise in agricultural machinery. The university is jointly managed by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China.

Located in the Yangtze River Delta, one of China’s most dynamic and innovative regions, JSU is a leader in higher education. The university holds doctoral and master’s degree conferring authority and was among the first institutions to receive Higher General Education Accreditation for International Students. Program Details

1. Funding Categories

  • General Scholar: Open to current undergraduate or postgraduate students.
  • Senior Scholar: Open to current Ph.D. candidates or faculty members.

2. Duration

  • 1 to 12 months.
  • Students must commence studies no later than August 31, 2026.

3. Working Language

  • English or Chinese, depending on the program.

4. Study & Research Fields

  • Open to all disciplines except Chinese language studies.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC), covering:

  • Tuition waiver
  • Free on-campus accommodation
  • Comprehensive medical insurance
  • Monthly stipend:
    • CNY 3,000 for general scholars
    • CNY 3,500 for senior scholars

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a citizen of a country other than China and be in good mental and physical health.
  • Age limit:
    • Under 45 years old for general scholars.
    • Under 50 years old for senior scholars.
  • Must be a full-time student or academic staff at a CSC foreign partner university during the application period.

Step 1: Apply on the JSU Online Application Portal

Step 2: Complete the CSC Online Application

  • After JSU Admission Office reviews applications, log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System.
  • JSU Code: 10299 (Select Type B for this program).

Step 3: Scholarship Admission Notification

  • CSC will notify JSU of the admission results.
  • JSU will inform applicants and issue Admission Notices and visa application forms.
