Bayern Munich had shockingly failed to lift the Bundesliga title the previous year, which led to their dominant status being questioned. However, they have turned the tide around this year and are on course to lift the domestic title.
Under their manager, Vincent Kompany, the Bavarians sit six points clear at the top of the table, having scored 83 goals from 29 games, 20 more than any other team.

While they are experiencing success in the domestic league, the same cannot be said for their performance in the European competition. The German club faced a disappointing quarter-final exit as they failed to topple Inter Milan in both ties.
A disappointing Champions League exit is the focal point here, and the Bavarians will look to strengthen their team in the quest for Champions League glory next season.
With Thomas Müller’s confirmed exit, the club is proactively shortlisting players it can target for a move.
Bayern are looking to acquire Morgan Rogers?
According to Fichajes, they are considering plotting a move for Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Morgan Rogers is a robust attacking midfielder who plays his trade for Aston Villa and the English National team. His strong attacking posture, coupled with his knack for scoring and assisting goals, makes him a valuable asset.

According to reports, Bayern Munich is preparing a bid of around €70 million in its attempt to lure Rogers away from Villa.
Rogers has established a place for himself in Unai Emery’s team, making 42 appearances in the Premier League and the Champions League during the 2024-25 season.
He has scored 12 goals and grabbed 9 assists during this spell. The 22-year-old has also been called up to the English National team for his performances.
Morgan’s contract with the Lions runs till 2030; however, a transfer away from the club cannot be ruled out.
Aston Villa are facing a dilemma?
If reports are to be believed, Villa will have to pay Middlesbrough €15 million for Rogers if all his add-ons are activated.
Although Villa have offloaded John Dhuran, the club is under pressure to remain on the right side of the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability regulations.
However, the situation could get complicated if they decide to sign Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford permanently. The money generated from the Dhuran sale could get eaten by the players’ signing, hence they will have to tread carefully if they want to stay on the right side of the regulations.

Above all, Roger’s perspective on the move is what remains to be seen. He has been delivering top-notch performances for Aston Villa, but with the World Cup approaching next year, he will thoroughly review this move.
