Avis, a leader in car rental services in Greece, has launched its new car-sharing app to improve urban mobility in Athens.
Named “Avis Car Sharing”, the app is now available for free on the Apple Store and Google Play, offering a flexible, affordable, and eco-friendly transportation solution for city residents and visitors.
“Avis Car Sharing redefines urban mobility by providing a smart, convenient, and sustainable way to navigate Athens,” said Avis CEO Andreas Taprantzis.
A wide network across Attica
The app boasts a wide network of partner stations, extending from central Athens to key locations across Attica, including Athens International Airport, Piraeus Port, Nea Smyrni, and Kifissia. Each station serves as both a pick-up and drop-off point, allowing users to easily rent a car for short city trips.
Users can reserve a car instantly by selecting a pick-up time, with no long-term commitments. Pricing is transparent, based on the duration of use, including both driving and parking costs. The fleet consists exclusively of electric city cars, ensuring zero emissions, while all parking spaces are equipped with chargers for a seamless driving experience.
This new service aligns with Avis’ commitment to sustainable innovation, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable Athens.
