Venos Papadopoulos, founder and president of the DMC and incoming travel agency BenLeToni Tours, has passed away.
For 45 years, Venos contributed to the growth of Greek tourism with his deep insight and experience in the travel industry.
In 1992, Venos founded BenLeToni Tours in Athens, offering customers a wide range of services, including roundtrips, cruises, cultural, pilgrimage and agricultural tours, city breaks, island escapes, as well as professional MICE services and team-building programs.
In 2000, the company expanded by inaugurating an IATA-accredited ticketing office.
“His loss is very painful for our company and for all of us. We will always honor his leadership, his dedication, and his vision,” said the BenLeToni Tours family following his passing.
Venos’ funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at the Municipal Cemetery of Zografos in Athens, at 1:30 pm.
We, at GTP, extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and the people of BenLeToni Tours during this difficult time.
